Opening Reception at Springs Gallery TONITE 6-9 p.m.

Springs Gallery is pleased to present the ceramic art of James Klinger, and the oil and acrylic paintings of Christine Klinger. The exhibit, titled, “Flora and Fauna—Recent Works of James and Christine Klinger” runs December 16-February 16, 2012, with an opening reception Friday, December 16 from 6 to 9 pm. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.

James Klinger, of Yellow Springs, has been working in clay since 1976. He is known for his striking pottery, sculpture, and wall art fired in the raku tradition. Christine Klinger, of Yellow Springs, has been painting nature themes and images in oils and acrylics since 2006. Most recently she has been creating expressionistic landscapes and florals. Christine is the owner of Springs Gallery.

Springs Gallery, located in Kings Yard at 220 Xenia Avenue in Yellow Springs, exhibits and sells a wide variety of original fine arts and fine crafts by local and regional artists. The gallery also hosts art classes and workshops. Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, Noon to 7 PM and, on the 3rd Friday Fling, Noon to 9 PM.
