Workshop: Creating a Pathworking Staff

FIRST CLASS:
MARCH 22 * 2009 (Sunday)
1:00pm to approx. 3:00pm
AGE: Any ages from 18+
101 KING STREET * YELLOW SPRINGS (my house!)

"Creating A Pathworking Staff"
A series of workshops designed to engage your personal connection with nature and intuitive abilities. More than just a "walking stick", a pathwork staff is a tool for spiritual development and self discovery within a sacred context. The classes will convene at Spring Equinox and continue bi-monthly until their conclusion at Fall Equinox. It is not necessary to commit to each and every class in order to participate ~ however, it is strongly suggested that you make a personal committment to a minimum of 3 in order for the flow of energy to activate fully.

During this gestational time, the on-going work will offer many opportunities for sharing, synthesis, communal and individual work, and applying and discussing the following aspects:

dreams
symbols and 'signs'
Saints and Ascended Masters
spirit guides
animal totems
healing properties of stones and trees
creative visualization journeying
7 sacred directions, 5 archangels, the 4 cardinal directions
color, sound, movement

The FIRST class is MANDATORY, as this initiates the process and purpose overall. The fee for the first class is $25.00. Cash, cheque, or money order only please. To reserve your place in the group, please contact me. Full payment needs to be received by Friday, March 20. ALL other Staff workshops, classes, and sessions are on a "Come as you're Able" basis and for a "love donation" only.

I will be drawing upon my years of training with the Shamanic Traditions of both North and South America to fascilitate this work, as well as my Reiki healing practices and my ministry through SunPath Oracle. Thanks for reading! I forgot to mention---it's also a lot of FUN!

The 3rd Friday Fling in the Springs

The 3rd Friday Fling in the Springs on February 20 marks an historic event for the community, the 10th Anniversary of the Whitehall “Save the Farm” effort. As a result of the hard work, generosity and cooperation of citizens and elected officials in Yellow Springs and the region, this historic farm on the northern edge of Yellow Springs will remain agricultural. Join the festivities in Yellow Springs with shopping, gallery hopping and dining all evening.
Special events include a celebration of Tecumseh Land Trust during the wine tasting at The Emporium/Underdog Café where G. Scott Jones will perform starting at 6:30. Around the corner at Main Squeeze, you can learn how to your own wine from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.
The Art Space at 108 Dayton St. will be hosting an Open Mic Poetry Night hosted by John Booth and Matt Housh with an art exhibit by Sarah Strong. The reception starts at 6-9pm with refreshments and kids’ poetry crafts. Stop into Yoga Springs Studio next door to The Art Space for a session of Happy Hour Yoga at 6:00.
As a special treat, see Mr. Universe “Looking for Love in YS” from 2BSDesigns, a multimedia art display shown on the Short St. wall of Downing’s Hardware.
The critically-acclaimed movie “Slumdog Millionaire” will be playing at the Little Art Theatre at 7 and 9:25.
