Today's Holiday Fest fun starts at noon with a Treasure Hunt to find surprises around town. Check in first at Ye Olde Trail Tavern, 228 Xenia, to get instructions and receive your first clue. Then visit participating stores til 3 p.m. Free horse-drawn wagon rides will start in front of the Little Art Theatre at 1 pm and run until 4 pm. And to top it off, Santa is making a special visit from the North Pole, stopping by Dunphy Real Estate at 251 Xenia Avenue from 3-6 pm.
The Yellow Springs Montessori will be providing childcare at the United Methodist Church at 202 S. Winter, from 1-5 pm for a modest donation. Reservations appreciated but drop-ins are welcome. For more information and reservations call (614) 795-8423 or e-mail karlapry88@gmail.com.
