Call for Artists: "The Mysteries of the Heart"

Can you visualize the completion of this thought? “The Heart is ____________”

If so, use your artistic talents to create a piece of artwork that completes the statement and submit your work to The Village Artisans “Mysteries of the Heart” show. Help us celebrate the heart from January 15, 2012 through February 24, 2012.

This show is open to all artists who would like to create a piece of work that completes the thought “The Heart is ____________”

Bring your work to The Village Artisans at 100 Corry St. Yellow Springs, OH 45387 (937 767-1209) by January 14, 2012. The show will be hung on January 15, 2012 and taken down on February 24, 2012. All unsold work should be picked up by February 29, 2012. Checks for sold pieces will be mailed to the artist.

Artists Reception: February 17, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM
All artists, their friends and families and community
members are invited to join us for a celebration of “The Mysteries of the Heart”.

You may enter up to three pieces in the show. The entry fee is $14 for the first piece and $10 for each additional piece. You may price your own artwork. The store will take no commission on the sale of your pieces. Nothing larger than 16x20 inches can be accepted (we have a small gallery). All mediums are welcome.
