“Liars Club” Comic Book Exhibit Features
Greene County World War II Veterans

Yellow Springs author/illustrator Michael Fleishman’s new “Liars Club” comic book introduces us to a group of vibrant WWII veterans who meet daily for breakfast with tales to tell at a Xenia, Ohio, McDonalds restaurant. On Friday, November 11 (Veteran’s Day), 6-9 PM, there will be an Opening Reception to kick-off a month-long exhibit featuring the book and other works by Fleishman at the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery, utilizing a special venue with improved accessibility at 111 Corry Street in Yellow Springs.

Widowers, and almost all in their 90's, veterans Charlie Bath, Earl Ellis (who died on October 21), and Jack Newhouse have poignant lessons to share about love, life and liberty.

Copies of the comic book will be available to purchase, with proceeds benefitting the Greene County Council on Aging.
