Ohio’s up-and-coming jamband powerhouse, The Werks are thrilled to announce additional artists for the 2nd annual The Werk Out Festival, held Thursday through Sunday, September 8–11 at Zane Shawnee Caverns in Bellefontaine, Ohio. New artists include The New Mastersounds, Future Rock, Everyone Orchestra with Michael Kang of The String Cheese Incident, The Ragbirds & many more.
Building off the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s The Werk Out Festival gets even better with two nights of The Werks. The Werks are being joined by shadows of the Dead in the forms of Dark Star Orchestra and Donna Jean's band, and vapors of String Cheese Incident in EOTO and Kyle Hollingsworth, with a mirage of the Allman Brothers in keyboardist Johnny Neel, the Werks have tapped into the central line of the heart of the jam scene.
Fusing psychedelic and shredding guitar, a screaming classic rock organ, funk slap bass, and modern dance beats and synthesizers, festival hosts The Werks have created a style all of their own: ‘Psychedelic Dance Rock.’ Their highly unique and highly danceable grooves have earned them a devoted following, as well as invitations to perform at some of the nation’s largest festivals, including the All Good Festival, Electric Forest, Summer Camp and Wakarusa.

The festival will be held at 7092 St. RT. 540 Bellefontaine, OH, is an All Ages event, and 3 Day Pass are $65 in advance & $75 at the gate (includes camping/parking). There are $20 Early Bird Thursday arrival tickets available, and children under 12 are admitted free. Campsite and VIP Upgrades are available. Gates will open at Noon Thursday for Early Bird Camping and stay open through Sunday evening.
