Flash Mob to perform in Yellow Springs

You know all those cool "flash mob" videos that are circulating...the busy train station that suddenly erupts into a choreographed performance of "Do Re Mi"...the flash mob at the Union at Ohio State University...the Hallelujah Chorus in the middle of a mall in December. If you ever fantasized about being a part of a flash mob, here's your chance.

Defined as a group of people who assemble suddenly in public, perform a brief, previously-rehearsed act and then disperse, a flash mob dance performance is being planned for this year's summer Street Fair, to be held Saturday, June 11. Rehearsals have already begun but there are 3 more rehearsals scheduled. At least two rehearsals are required.

Remaining rehearsal times/dates:

Saturday, June 4, 5:30-7 p.m.; Monday, June 6, 4-5:30 p.m.; and Friday, June 10, 4-5:30 p.m. All rehearsals will be held at the Senior Center Great Room, 227 Xenia Avenue. All are welcome to attend rehearsals, whether or not they are able to perform during Street Fair. The dance will be performed again later in the year.
