Classical Paintings and Drawings
Tom Verdon’s career has been all about people. He began with a love of
art, segued into Counseling, taught Painting and now spends his time as a
Figurative Painter. Working in oil
paint, Verdon’s portraits capture quiet, contemplative moments. Tom describes the
process of portrait painting “as fascinating, wonderfully rewarding and just
plain fun.”
Parviz Dadras is a retired engineering professor who is a self-taught
artist. Working mainly in Acrylic paint, his small, elegant works are
based on personal narratives and impressions.
There is a story contained in each piece that leaves the viewer
intrigued and guessing.
Artists Reception: November 15th
6-9 p.m.
Gallery Talk: 7 p.m.
The show will contain some classical studies of
nudes.
