Quilt oooooooooo's and Feet aaaaah's

Author: Nancy Mellon

Yesterday Corrine and I went to look at feet.  Now that is not as strange as it sounds.

Laura VanLehn had offered us the opportunity to take some photos of her giving a reflexology session to one of the lucky Raffle Winners from the YS Arts Council’s Wellness Weekend.
Laura works out of the Humanist Center at 105 W. North College Street.
It was great to see Laura in action.
A foot massage is a wondrous thing.  Take it from someone who loves to get her feet rubbed.
Reflexology has been in use since before the Egyptians.  It is used for optimum health, for specific medical conditions and stress relief.
While we were there we got an added bonus. We got to see the most unusual and beautiful quilts lining the hallways.  I kept pulling Corrine from one to another.  “OOOO look at this one!” They were made by local quilt designer Marianne Rabb Britton.
Corrine says Marianne moved away.  I hope not!  If you are still here write in and tell us.  We want to see more of your work.  How about a show at the YS Art Gallery
