We had a great crowd, lots of families, and fun with the "hide & seek" project. Thanks everyone who helped, who brought art, and those who came, it was a blast.

Where's the ART?

Believe it or not this is the question several locals have been asked by visitors to the village recently.

Here is the slide show of murals and art seen around town. If urban style street art (murals/graffiti) is up your alley then check out Keiths Alley behind the shops on Xenia Avenue.
"Amnesty" by Parvis Dadras is one of the paintings that will exhibited as part of the Arts Council's "celebration of street art & art party" ART STROLL NIGHT. Hip Joint Music provided by local musicians JFX316 and Digititus.

Scott Kissel's fabulous photographs of scenes/people around Yellow Springs are on display in Village Artisans, a local artist's cooperative. Ann Gayek and David Schumacher have an exhibit of their work in the Glen Helen Building.
For those enjoy seeing how an engineer and mathematician melds those into art, then check out the Shirley Jones Gallery's exhibit of Buckminster Fuller's work. He is known as one of the key innovators in the 20th century. For more information about this fascinating man visit the
Buckminster Fuller Institute.

Marianne Rabb Britton has her quilts and fabric art at the Humanist Center 105 W. N. College St.

Corrine Bayraktaroglu will have her opening reception for "Fragments" at "would you, could you, IN A FRAME Oct 19th Art Stroll night.

Street Fair Coming Up/Eyes Wide Open Exhibit

October Street Fair is Oct 13th and starts at 9am and is FREE! There will be over 250 booths, international food as well as american favourites, street musicians, belly dancers, games, live music at Mills Lawn. For more info check in with the Chamber of Commerce.
