“It's Still Life”
The Members Show
February 19th-March
13th
“Essentially, the subject matter of a
still life painting or sculpture is anything that does not move or
is dead.”
Quote from the Tate
An art of imitation?
A new way of seeing the ordinary objects
that surround us?
When creating a still life, the important
question to ask is, "What does it mean?"
Modern still life often breaks the
two-dimensional barrier
and employs three-dimensional mixed media,
and uses found objects, photography, computer graphics, as well as video and
sound.”
Work

The first artwork submission is free to members! There is a $10.00 entry fee for a second
piece.
