Art on the Lawn

The Yellow Springs Arts Council is proud to support

Village Artisans
26th Annual Art on the Lawn
Saturday, August 8th
10am - 5pm
Mills Lawn School

Please come out and support this event, which includes fine arts and fine crafts
including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, artistic cards, jewelry, woodcraft and much more.

This juried show is open to all artists in the Miami Valley and beyond. Artists who are interested in participating in Art on the Lawn can contact Village Artisans at 937-767-1209 or artonthelawn@aol.com.

Prior to Art on the Lawn, check out Simply Women 5k Run/Walk for Women and Girls, designed to increase participation in girls' sports in Yellow Springs.

Amorette's specializes in "oekakiben", or "picture-bento": Japanese-style lunchboxes comprised entirely of edible art. Her fun, bright presentations and slightly unorthodox techniques have been a hit with foodies and art-lovers around the world.
Her work has been featured in numerous magazines & newspapers, including Greek Marie Claire, Anorak, Gourmet, Weekend Weekly, Mothering and the Tampa Bay Times.
She has also contributed work to the books Face Food, by Christopher Salyers, and 501 Bento Box Lunches, just released by Korero Books.

Amorette was a guest author for Lunch in a Box and wrote series on how to make decorative art bento lunches.
