Third Weekend Fling Food Cart Kick-Off

Jon Bartell will be parking his food cart, The Green Room, at the corner of Xenia Avenue and Corry Street TODAY, Friday, August 19, from 4 p.m. til the food runs out.

Jon's menu is a fusion of Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean ingredients. The Green Room is the "Home of Thaiyaki," a sauce/marinade he developed. Jon will be serving Thaiyaki Chicken Tacos, Ital Vegan Vean Tacos (a vegan blend of peruano and black beans), Nathan's Dogs, Brats, Homemade Coney Sauce, Kraut, Grilled Onions and Peppers, Cheese, Pure Cane Sugar Coke, Jarritos, Coco Rico, Agua, and Peach Guava Hibiscus Nectar!

The Green Room sources locally grown and organic items whenever possible. His menu of "Island Style" cuisine is eco-friendly and delicious!

Jon has a degree in the Culinary Arts from the New England Culinary Institute as well as years of hands-on experience with some of America's finest chefs including Jeremiah Tower, Bradley Ogden, Mario Batali, and Terrance Brennan.

You will always find a nice selection of music at the cart as well.
