THE BUSINESS OF ART PANEL DISCUSSION
Saturday, March 20, 2-4 pm at the Senior Citizens Great Room
Art is a vital business for many residents of Yellow Springs, yet marketing is rarely taught in art schools, and artists are often in the dark about getting their work into the marketplace. Hoping to shed some light, playwright Kay Reimers has coordinated The Business of Art, a panel and discussion group for sharing strategies. Traditional and non-traditional methods of marketing will be presented by local artists, including Naysan McIlhargey of Miami Valley Pottery and Lisa Hunt of YS Kids Playhouse. Karen Wintrow of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce will also be on hand to describe marketing opportunities with the Chamber. For more information, contact Reimers at 767-8401.

WOOF, WOOF AT THE MICROPHONE
Saturday, March 20, 7 pm at the Underdog Café (Emporium)
The Yellow Springs Arts Council invites you to make your way to the Underdog Café for original dog poetry by Cathryn Essinger. TUNES BY TAINT
Saturday, March 20, 8 pm at the Underdog Café (Emporium)
Michael Taint will not likely blemish a note when he takes the mic at the Underdog Café March 20, accompanied by pianist Mary Fahrenbruck.
