Kings Yard at the
Nolaa Gallery. Curiosity seekers can now enjoy a chance to buy a piece of original art from 5 artists,
Corrine Bayraktaroglu, Nancy Mellon, Deb Housh,
Talitha Greene, and our guest artist Jennifer Float.
CALL TO ARTISTSThe Yellow Springs Arts Council invites the public and local artists to create a street inspired artwork (2d or 3d) for their Street Art Themed Art Party ( a celebration of art placed on streets, such as murals, posters, stickers, graffiti,
stencil art, wheat pastes,
LED graffiti,
light graffiti,
3d objects, found art, etc) on the night of Art Stroll (19th October). The work will be exhibited one night at the Art Party located at the Hip Joint (senior Center Hall) at 227 Xenia Avenue and then subsequently exhibited at the John Bryan Community Gallery for one month. There is no entry fee, work should be delivered at the time the event starts at 6pm with name, address/phone number, title and price attached to the work.
There will be live music, video slide show, a ""Hide & Seek Project"using found art (NOT found art as in
objet trouvé, but art made with the intent to be found). Examples of

William Mills: The Yellow Springs Man on Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m in the Senior Center Great Room.
