The Women's Park of Yellow Springs

Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter there is always sunshine with the beautiful sculpture flowers by artist Cherie Bayes at the Women's Park on the Little Miami Scenic Hike/Bike Trail in Yellow Springs.
The Women's Park is the second park in this country created to honor all women. "It came into being after Village resident, Imogen Trolander, suggested that since most streets, parks and buildings in town were named for men, women's contributions to the community needed to be honored."
And if nature calls, there is always art to delight you in our Chamberpot Gallery right on the Bike Trail.

Looking for a portrait artist?

Then Jason Morgan is the artist for you. Jason is a self-taught artist who, within 5 years, has earned a solid reputation for his portraiture. Looking at his portraits one can understand why. Check out his painting of Thelonius Monk and his bio at the Chamberpot Gallery . Although Jason’s primary interest is portraiture, his talents don’t stop there. He recently won a commission to paint a mural for Yellow Springs, Inc., to be completed by late summer 2007. Meanwhile, check out the mural he is working on for the city of Wilmington, Ohio. If that were not enough Jason also paints townscapes and highway scenes. He has a number of paintings in his studio up for sale, so if you are interested in a portrait commission, mural art, or would like to see some of his other work, please contact him at: jasonmorganportraits@yahoo.com.

Studio visits are by appointment.
